Nikki really couldn't think of anything to actually write a bio, so this is really a word from Mike and Wes, Give
her a break, she is only 14. Nikki started playing piano at age 5 which is really a big deal because again,
she is only 14. She was trained classically by the wife of the Pastor at our home church. She took lessons
for 7 1/2 years until one day, Mike asked if she would like to try playing in a rock band. At the time she was
listening to bands like Superchick, Relient K and Flatfoot 56. She was completely excited about the idea,
but felt it would only be right if she first asked her piano teacher what she would think about it. Her teacher
told her that she had been taught as much as she could unless she wanted to be a classical pianist. So,
with the blessing and prayer of her piano teacher, she joined Upperdeck. In the past year she has really
been one of biggest factors in setting apart Upperdeck from other metal bands, with her classical yet
haunting keyboards. She is truly the backbone of Upperdeck's sound. Without her Upperdeck is just
another Christian metal band. Thanks Nikki, and even if you are a little soft spoken with not much to say, we
love you and we couldn't do this without you. You completely rock!! Thanks for serving with us!!
By the way next time you see us play, come up and talk to her. Once she gets to know you she is really the
little prankster. Ask her about how she got the name "Feedback Fingers".
